Terms of Service

These terms describe use of the Backpacker Apply website and its account, job-search and application management tools. Please read them before using the service or buying a membership.
1. Who provides the service
Backpacker Apply is an independently operated service based in Indonesia. We are not a recruitment agency, an employer, a migration agent or an immigration-law adviser.
2. What the service does
Features may include employer discovery, saved searches, CV and application preparation, follow-up scheduling, contract date tracking and authorised email campaign tools. Availability and coverage change. Employer information may be incomplete or out of date. Each user must verify opportunities independently.
3. No employment or visa guarantee
A membership does not guarantee interviews, employment, sponsorship, a visa outcome or compliance with Working Holiday Visa work rules. Official Australian Government requirements and the terms of each employer take precedence. You are responsible for checking visa eligibility, employment terms and the accuracy of your applications.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You may not impersonate other people, send deceptive or unlawful messages, misuse employer contact details, harass recipients or bypass account limits. Send applications only where legally permitted and respect opt-out requests and applicable Australian anti-spam and privacy requirements. We may pause or terminate misuse, subject to applicable law.
5. Google and email authorisation
Google sign-in and email-related functions operate with permissions you grant. Do not submit another person's CV or personal details without an appropriate legal basis. Review all campaign settings and messages; automated sending must never be interpreted as an endorsement by any employer or Google.
6. Membership, recurring payments and cancellation
When commercial checkout is enabled, the advertised monthly membership is IDR 350,000 before any applicable checkout adjustments or taxes shown by the payment provider. Prices, final payment currency and recurring schedule must be displayed before confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. At checkout, Polar acts as merchant of record for the sale under its own buyer terms. You can cancel future renewals through the subscription-management portal or contact support. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal; access may continue through the paid period, subject to the provider's confirmed subscription status and applicable law. There is no minimum commitment beyond the purchased billing period.
7. Refunds
See our Refunds & Cancellations page. No clause in these terms removes rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection laws.
8. Service operation and limitations
We work to maintain a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, accurate third-party listings, message delivery or results. We may perform maintenance, correct errors or suspend unsafe functions. Liability exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Ownership, privacy and changes
The site's software and branding remain with their respective owners. Your CVs and application content remain yours; you give us the limited permission needed to process them for your requested services. Our Privacy Policy describes data handling. Material changes to these terms will be communicated reasonably in advance when required by law.
10. Questions or complaints
Contact backpackerapply.support@gmail.com. Applicable Indonesian law and mandatory consumer protections may govern disputes; nothing here displaces non-waivable protections in your country.
